Follow Vauban’sfootsteps by visiting the stronghold of Mont-Dauphin, which is part of the UNESCO World heritage. Enter the region of the Queyras via the gorges of the river Guil and admire the castle Fort-Queyras in Château-Ville-Vieille. Next stop will be to visit the natural history museum called « Arche des Cimes » located in the natural reserve Ristolas-Mont-Viso.
Get away and visit the highest village in Europe, Saint-Véran. Go back in time with the « Soum » museun in Saint-Véran and discover this old traditional house dating back to 1641 where you will be able to see how people lived back in the day.
There are other sites that you can visit such as the silver mines of l’Argentière-la-Bessée located at the foot of the National Park of the Ecrins, or you can visit the remarkable Abbey of Boscodon, dating back to the 12th century.
